So, with just a few days until “Is Fatboy Slim A DJ?” released we’ve had over 26,000 people watch the Aardman Animations produced video, we’ve been on BBC news and radio, we’ve been written about in the newspapers, and people are starting to generously donate to Macmillan Cancer Care. It seems like a long time since we had Boris Johnson in the studio with us!
And this is where you come in – if we’re to sell as many MP3s as possible, and raise lots of lovely cash for charity, we’ll need your help.
So, what can you do?
1 – Email your favourite radio DJ and ask them to play it. With someone like Chris Moyles or Chris Evans behind it we could do big things!

3 – Blog about it, write about it, tweet about it, talk about it, tell your Auntie Mavis about it.

5 – Like our official fanpage on Facebook. Someone’s even set up a campaign to get us into the charts. You should join up to that, too!
6 – Any other ideas? Let us know if you can think of some clever ways to help us spend next week rocketing up the charts. Maybe you have a journalist friend, or you see a celebrity on your way home from work. Get them on board…

20 Thousand, Radio 1 DJs and Fatboy Slim
Thanks to all of you that have watched the video. We’ve now hit the 20,000 mark on youtube and it’s continuing to rise!
We also managed to personally give copies of the track to Radio 1 DJs Scott Mills, Greg James, Vernon Kaye and Dominic Byrne, from Chris Moyles’ Breakfast Show. So keep your ears open and let us know if you hear them talking about it/playing it.

Wow!
What a whirlwind 24 hours. We’ve had thousands and thousands of views of this blog since we uploaded the Aardman Animations video yesterday. People have been blogging about it, Phil Jupitus has retweeted it, we’ve had phonecalls from journalists and radio stations. We’ve had people emailing to ask who we are, and blog posts guessing that we’re The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada and all sorts of other top DJs. We’re keeping it all under wraps…..for now!
We’ve also hit the front page of Youtube’s UK music chart. Help us get higher up the rankings by forwarding the video on to all your friends, leaving us lovely comments, and just generally being as ace as you all have been so far!

That’s right, the full video will get it’s first airing on iTunes video tomorrow. You’ll be able to download it from there. You’ll get to see a brilliant animated Boris playing guitar, scratching (DJ style), loads of mad characters, and all from the geniuses (or should that be genii?) at Aardman Animations.

The Remixes
We’ve got a few remixes coming up. Here’s an exclusive sampler of two of them. Given Boris’ love of Ping Pong (or Wiff Waff as he calls it) we’ve got this rather tasty Ping Pong’s Wiff Waff Olympic Remix. Yes it really is the sound of ping pong balls and bats that you can hear.
There’s also a lovely production from Del Gazeebo. He calls it the Night-Mayor Remix. We like.
